While Marengo County E-911 can notify gas / propane companies of emergency situations (gas leak, busted line etc) we CAN NOT have gas / propane delivered at anytime regardless of the situation.  Citizens will have to contact their own gas company to have gas delivered. Please do not wait until your gas / propane tank is empty then try to get it delivered.  Only call 911 if there is a emergency situation as listed above.

Marengo County Utilities

Water

Water Bills are due on the 10th of every month.  While Marengo County E-911 takes after hour emergency calls we CAN NOT have the water turned back on due to unpaid bills, late bills, if someone wants to pay their bill after hours or if they did not receive a bill.

While Marengo County E-911 can notify power companies of emergency situation / dangerous condition (lines down, blown transformer etc.) we CAN NOT have power restored at anytime regardless of the situation.  Citizens will have to contact their own power company to report an outage. We can not have power turned back on during a power outage or for unpaid bills.  Understand that during severe weather there will be power outages and that Marengo County E-911 can not report every power outage.  Marengo County E-911 CAN NOT give a time power will be restored and CAN NOT give updates on any power outages.  Only call 911 if there is a emergency situation, situation that could cause an injury or life threatening condition.
