Marengo County Emergency Communications District
Marengo County E-911 has long maintained an unofficial Livestock Contact List that includes the names and contact information of livestock owners throughout the county.
When livestock are reported at large, this list allows county departments to quickly contact owners in the affected area to determine whether the animals may belong to them. Rapid notification helps protect motorists, property, and the animals themselves.
We have discovered that portions of our current livestock list are outdated, and many of the telephone numbers on file are no longer valid.
If you are a livestock owner in Marengo County — including owners of horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, llamas, alpacas, or other farm animals — please take a few moments to complete the form below. This will allow us to:
Confirm the location of your livestock
Update your current contact information
Ensure we can reach you quickly if needed
Your cooperation helps us respond more efficiently and safely when livestock are reported on or near roadways.
Thank you for assisting us in keeping Marengo County safe.
